Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Low Voltage Cabling Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems. This role supports commercial and industrial projects involving data, voice, security, and audiovisual systems.Key Responsibilities:Install, terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, coax) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Install cable pathways including conduit, cable trays, J-hooks, and sleeves Perform cable testing using certification tools (Fluke or equivalent) Troubleshoot connectivity issues and perform repairs as needed Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work Ensure all work meets industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and company quality expectations Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on job sites
